3D Draughting

Using Revit 3D software, we provide Architectural draughting & documentation services to the Building Industry.
Our clients include Architects & Designers, Developers, Builders and Surveyors.

Depending on specific project requirements, we are able to extract from our Revit models highly accurate documentation including:

  • Concept design drawings: 2D drawings, 3D images, animated fly-throughs, schedules of areas & elements to obtain Planning Approvals and determine initial costs & feasibility.
  • Detailed working drawings: Plans, elevations, sections & detail drawings suitable for Building Certification and construction.
  • Schedules and Bills of Quantities: For use by Developers or Builders for procurement, quantity surveying or costing.
  • As-built documentation & operational data: For use by Asset Managers for building maintenance or future extensions.
  • Modelling from Point Cloud laser scans: Working with Surveyors, we use Revit to accurately model existing building structures & services by “linking” point cloud files produced using surveying laser scanners. As our industry progresses along the BIM path, we are able to combine our fields of expertise and the use of cutting-edge technology, allowing Surveyors to expand and enhance their scope of BIM service. This is now becoming the minimum standard that clients are expecting from Surveyors and BIM.

Drawing from our vast experience in the industry, we can deliver these services on all types of building projects including:

  • Commercial
  • Retail & Hospitality
  • Hospitals & Laboratories
  • Industrial & Mining
  • Multi-Residential
  • Residential
  • Heritage Projects

Our business endeavour “to build our Revit computer models the way the real building will be constructed, resolving issues virtually rather than on site.”

Critical in providing accurate, coordinated and clash-detected documentation – all produced with the intention of providing the builder with a clear ‘road map’ to complete the construction.

This can only be achieved by understanding construction methods, material & product specifications & limitations, and by applying this knowledge while building the Revit model.

Too often we have seen Revit models that look amazing in 3D while providing detailed drawings that just cannot be used effectively on site. This can lead to site variations, delays and cost overruns – issues our clients definitely want to avoid.

We strive to do better, and by being “3Dwise” we bring experience, knowledge & good judgement to your projects.
